Some old Pics worth following this link!!!
Started in the trade in 1979 when he
took a job as an apprentice mechanic with North Wales Kawasaki in
1979. Shortly after this he made a sideward step moving into a full
time position in the stores with the same company. In 1980 he moved
to what was then City Motorcycles as the storeman and has been here
ever since, progressing to salesman, manager and eventually taking
over the business in 1986. He is currently involved in sponsoring
and running a very successful classic

| Paul Knight
Sales Manager
Paul is the Sales manager at Bill Smiths
having joined at the start of September 2002 from one of the largest
motorcycle parts wholesalers, where he was their North West area
sales manager. He has been working in the motorcycle trade since he
was 16, starting as a storeman in a Kawasaki dealers. He then spent
several years working for the same dealership as a mechanic, before
becoming a salesman for the same company and eventually moved on to
be a branch manager for them in 1986. When they went into
liquidation in 1988 he purchased the branch he was running and
eventually sold it as a going concern in 1992, when he went back
into full time education to complete a degree course in information
technology. Always a committed motorcyclist having owned over 100
bikes by the time he was 21. He currently owns an old air-cooled
RD350 Yamaha (has now started to get this back together with a view
to using it for track days although the project seems to have
stalled again ), a 1980 Honda ST70, a 1998 Triumph Daytona 1200 SE
and a 2002 Suzuki GSX1400. You can regularly find him enjoying the
stunning roads of North Wales on his days off. |

John Glyn Goodier
Technician
John has recently joined us from another local
dealer who he had been with for nearly eight years. A fully
experienced technician who adds a lot to the team here at Bill
Smiths. He can be found riding his newly purchased Yamaha YZFR-6R or
maybe at the drag strip running his highly modified Kawasaki ZX7-R
nitrous injected drag bike, which for the 2012 season will be turbo
charged as well. With which he gained a prestigious 5th
place overall at last years Bull Dog Bash at the Shakespear County Raceway
near Stratford on Avon. |
