Steve Hauxwell our workshop manager, as many of you will know, has finished in the runners up position in Top Technician of the Year competitions run by Yamaha (three years in a row) and Suzuki (three years in a row) and is currently in the final again for the forth year. These hotly contested events consist of a series of written technical exam papers to qualify for the final. The top ten technicians are then invited to the importers headquarters for yet more written and practical exams. And though it is true Steve has so far achieved only five consecutive second places (in five competitions) There has never been the same winner for either manufacturer twice in a row, so as far as we are concerned and for consistency at least Steve is top.
