| The frame fresh back from being
powder coated at a local company. Please note that in order to
remove the old paint and rust the components must first be blast
cleaned and in order to protect the bearing surfaces things like
swinging arm and steering head bearings need to be removed and then
the rebates that they fit into must be masked off. If the coating
firm is any good they will be able to advise you in this. |

The bike is starting to go back
together now, as you can see the standard Honda air filter cage and
rear mudguard are now mounted. |
| Swinging arm, Hagon rear shocks ( a
modern equivalent of the period Lucas Girling gas shock up-grade )
These are available off the shelf from Hagon but can be built to
suit riders of different weights etc. |

With the Yokes (triple clamps if
your American) fitted, the forks, front wheel and handle bars can
then be mounted. The side panels and front number board are also
fitted in this picture and the project is starting to look like a
bike again. |
| Another period enhancement is the Gunner Gasser quick
action throttle to open the new 36mm Mikuni up with the minimum of
wrist action.
